On Netflix. All frothers and war hawks should be required to watch it with their eyes forced open, Clockwork Orange style. Hell, everyone should watch it.

I knew at some level of what they'd done, but now I'm doubly convinced that if there is a hell, there are definitely special places reserved in it for John Yoo, Alberto Gonzalez, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld.

Disgusting.

Intersting topic, I've been reading the book "The Heart and the Fist" by Eric Greitens. Long story short it's the story of a guy who in college travels and has an "ah ha" moment about human suffering, get's Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford, yada yada, becomes a Navy Seal, starts a non profit after his service.

In his book about his time in Afganistan, takes several paragraphs to talk about how ineffective torture is at gathering credible "humint". It was really interesting seeing how a "boot on the ground" viewed the whole torture thing.

Anyway.............good read I recommend it.............

I don't know...sounds like a faggy book to me. Did any gay wear off on you?

(It's the wrong argument anyways. Even if torture worked 100% of the time, it would still be immoral. You know what would solve religious terrorism? Murdering every person who wasn't an atheist. Why don't I support that? Because I'm not a monster.)

you couldn't do this b/c murder has a moral component, which you obviously lack [being an atheist]

besides, there would be no one left to fund all your godless social programs

If the religious affiliation of prisoners can be extrapolated out, I'm guessing we would be able to cut a lot of those social programs...
