Rasmussen held on at the end and didn't lose but a few seconds to Ullrich. He is about 3' up on him now. He'll have to uncork a great time trial not to lose that time to Ullrich BUT with that kinda motivation who knows.

10 years of riding the tour and Big George gets a victory. He really did deserve that win today.

best stage ever! my fave rider won. an example was set for any other over stimulated fans who want to stand in the middle of the road (idots)

Deserved it because...

1) he's been a loyal domestique forever and has yet to experience the glory of a Tour stage win? Sure

or

2) he worked hard on this stage and deserved the win over the other riders? I disagree. He rode a smart road race based on the alpha's placing in the gc, which let him draft the entire stage.
