yes. seriously.
There are a couple.

I think they are off the wall, of course.

This guy made a few good points, and Shuster was trying to bait him super hard. Of course, his last point, about the Democrats lynching a black person, the only thing I think of is when the Democrats was the party of the Deep South, 30-40 years ago.

I think two things:

1. Most people, taken out of the mob, are not racist. I've been friends with horrible racists who never treated me badly, or was rude to any person.

2. This is an odd one too. Take something close to home for me: Internment.

I remember when an American spy plane was forced to land in China. Everyone was making internment jokes, including my own stodgy family.

So when I hear Michelle Malkin defend Japanese internment, I think she must be truly blind to her own race.

Not the same Democrat party you know today. Southern Democrats or Dixiecrats were a totally different animal.

I can tell you some pretty interesting things about that event. I was, um,shall we say, pretty close to it. (I was a P-3 flight engineer in the Navy)

There is a house I regularly ride by, the resident ignorami consistently yell at me to "get off the road" when I roll by. It is no surprise they now have a teabagger "down with socialism" sign in their yard. I'm sure if you asked them define socialism their explanation would be more related to niggers and faggots than economic theory.

Front Range, dude...
Best quote of all..."I hope Jesus comes and raptures up all these morons soon" or something to that effect. I am too lazy to go back and find it...plus I need a beer.

if you ever ride in boulder, co., keep your head on a swivel - it's a leftist, obama-zombie epicenter, & home to the most self-centered, educated, & vile anti-cyclist uprising this side of marin county. an imba or share the road bumper sticker will get your subie keyed faster than you can say ward churchill.

look what these batcrap crazy fcukers just did to trail access: http://www.dailycamera.com/boulder-county-news/ci_14793798#axzz0jsbBXhj4

Haha.

I've spent a lot of time in boulder, biking and otherwise. As well as commuted to my buddy's job at NOAA with him a bunch. You're nuts.

There's definitely a berkeley fringe that literally uses the phrases "mother earth" and "goddess power" too much.......... but I can't believe you're trying to actually paint boulder as an antibike community by and large.

Since when did

become used as an insult? :p

I'm off to go ride my 2 stroke snowmobile to some skiing while stopping to look at cute squirrels along the way..............
