Yah what he said.

Aarons new ride for Crankworx. 3 inches of travel, rear end pivots around the BB. I watched him treading on the side of the crank/bb area and he says its pretty stiff.

Couple more dodgy spy shots

It's always good to see someone try something new.
It doesn't always work out, but you've got to give it a try.

Leave it to Cannondale to come up with some unorthodox suspension arrangements.

that's why we drink it here
I actually rode that little monster around. For it's intended purpose it makes a lot of sense.

It's just got a couple inches of give to take the edge off a hard landing.
The rear end pivots around the BB so you can run it single speed with no tensioner.
The seat tube is part of the swingarm so you can have a really short wheelbase without the rear wheel rubbing the seat.
It's relatively light since there are very few extra linkages/bearings.
It's quite stiff because the lefty leg does not allow any twist.

The seat being part of the swingarm kills any chance of this being useful for anything else, but for the intended purpose, I have to admit it's quite brilliant.
