Just like the title says, FSA ceramic BB (I think it's the 8200 model, but I can double-check tonight), will it work with a Shimano 7800 crankset?
If so, it saves me digging for another Shimano BB in the pile at work and at home, and it'd be nice to keep a ceramic BB on this bike, as I took it off when I put the cranks on another frame.

I think the word officially is "no, but..." as in it works fine, but not close enough to be officially supported, but my buddy at FSA said I'd have no problem. I *think* so anyway, as it's been forever since I bugged him about it and my memory isn't what it once was...

I've used an FSA BB with Ultegra cranks without issues. I have a mix of FSA, Rotor, and Shimano BB at home.

It will work. With road, no Race Face or Sram. Mtn = Race Face, FSA or Shimano.

For EXO any way.

That's what I thought, FSA says officially "no, but..."

The modification would be to use the Shimano Dura Ace cup sleeve instead of the supplied FSA cup sleeve to allow the cups to be spaced narrow enough to work with the shorter Dura Ace spindle. Also the FSA spindle is a true 24.0 mm O.D. while the Shimano spindle is 23.8mm just a little smaller, so it may have a little play when installed or will develop it. Possibility destroying the bearings.

Think I'll either buy an FSA crankset, or see if I can come up on another Shimano BB, I'm sure there are some around here...

Update for those concerned: I actually found 2 DA BBs in a box in my garage, so I'm covered, and that bike is running the full DA setup now, thanks for all of your concern.
