hi i was wondering if any of the designers out there have any technical specs on derailler mount positioning. The reason is i'm investigating a particualr dropout system but with my current configuration, the derailler would have to be mounted lower than what i've been measuring. I'm wondering if there are certain limits i can go to without serious impairment to the drivetrain system.

I have a SRAM Tech booklet that gives proper dimensions and tolerances for derailleur hangers. Perhaps you could email them and ask for a PDF? Unfortunately there's no real way for me to scan it in or anything, no scanner.

thanks dude, its actually on their site too. Silly me i forgot the existance of SRAM all together...gawd knows how useless Shimano can be.
