Due to this abnormally mild winter I have been extremely slow the past few weeks ( I sell HVAC for homes).
For the past 2 days I have been calling people who entered a contest we had to see if I can drum up some biz. I just hate it!

It's weird I can go to someones home I have never met and do a presentation, and it's all good, but something about cold calling on the phone annoys the hell out of me.

Sorry to take your time whinning just annoyed and going broke.....

I haven't a lot of experience "telemarketing" but have worked in call centers before, making outbound collection calls and taking inbound customer service calls. Just sitting on the phone talking to people who don't really want to talk to you SUCKS!

Funny - I thought the same thing when GM Card called me last night, just 2 days after I declined credit protection when I payed my bill online. Then I declined by phone when I activated my new card, the night before last. I think I finally got my point across last night. :mumble: You're right. Telemarketing does suck.
