Connect the dots, bro. (meaning, they don't literally mean that you posted a pic from pinkbike...)

another hardtail with a dual crown.... why god why?
Because he likes it. If the dude gets out and rides the bike, and it makes him smile, and it doesn't slow down the group ride why should we care?

I wouldn't mind a review of the frame though...

Some people like goat love, and it may not be hurting me but that doesnt make it right either. If we're gonna be completely non opinionated about this stuff than why even have a forum... I for one am a little tired of threads where all the replies are "that looks sweet man!" There's good reasons not to have a dc on your hardtail, namely excess weight, knee bashing, and the fact that it's just simply not necessary. If you're gonna snap even a burly SC fork, you ride like crap and need to get smoother. If you like to charge rockgardens and therefore need the dc for stiffness, then why dont you just get a damn dh bike, the hardtail is slowing you down more than a slightly flexy sc fork ever will. The guy asked for opinions and thats what he got.

interesting, an ellsworth with no suspension
Hah, exactly what I thought when I first glanced at it... a bit of a dareing frame design I must say.

The worst thing about that bike is the fender... DC on HT, well, I've just thrown my SuperT's on a Kona Scab, with intentions of riding our countries premier DH course all weekend on it.
The arguments against DC forks on a HT can be applied to DC forks on a dually too, it's all silly really, some people like the way it rides, some people do it to challenge their skills, other people (like me) have busted their DH bike and have to build a bike out of spare bits before the next weekend of fun. Sure, the hardtail may slow you down, but it also makes you faster too. It's funny how it's absolute blasphemy to have a DC on a HT, but what about SC on a DS? It could work both ways I guess....
