I am coming to Telluride in Feb for a ski trip / winter vacation.

I have heard that it is nearly impossible to find affordable food in town, is this true?

Any of you Colorado locals have any advice on reasonable places to eat?

telluride is very expansive. if you have a car some cheaper but not many and lower quality eating places can be found in sawpit which is further north on hwy 145. i live in durango and visit telluride frequently, and thats what i do

Baked in telluride is sweet and not to bad they have pasta and sandwitchs expect to pay 15 for a meal with a drink. The Brown bag is another place that has good food on the cheeper side plust theres two mexican retarants but they are more. As for lodging find a lownley rich house wife whos husband is away on business thats what we do all the time then we run trains on her to show her we are thankful for letin us stay

All great suggestions and advice.

Some not so great since it is basically a belated honeymoon with my wife.

Not to change this to slopemonkey, but has anyone hit up T-Ride slopes this year? Have you guys been getting dumped on this year?
