On the eve of my 10,000th mile (since keep a daily record) I thought I’d commemorate it with this post. It’s taken 768 days (13.02 mile a day average), 35+ Tmbra Xc races, 10+ rally rides, 8 12 hour races, 5 bikes, 4 trips to the ER, 5 100 mile races, 2 24 hour team races, 1 24hour Solo, 1 24hour World Solo Championship race.
This last 10,000 miles was for who I wasn’t yesterday and who I will be tomorrow.
This next 10,000 miles is for my hommies.
Cheers.

awesome...you have way more motivation than I do

of course, now we expect you to do the next 10,000 in half the time
That would mean twice as many "ER" trips though.

funny you sould mention that. Before the year i layed out my goals and to accomplish them i was supposed to push at least 7,000 this year. At the beginning of july i was pretty much on course but have derailed since. My body just wasnt able to take the load. i've scaled back starting from scratch and going to try to ramp back up later in the year. I'm going to have to miss the WSC this year which was may major goal but i'm just not in condition for it.
there's a 24 here later in the year that i'm hoping to compete at.
