A coworker of mine who lives in a very small town in Pa has a wife who thinks they are under terrorist attack everytime she sees someone with dark skin. She is also afraid to go outside alone because she is afraid of bears. Her car is 8 years old and only has 5,000 miles on it because she is afraid to drive (most realistic fear).

Some people are just afraid of the world. Unfortunately we live in times where their paranoid complaints need to be taken somewhat seriously. The current administration does not help at all by continuously reminding us to be afraid. I feel sorry for people who live sheltered lives because the smallest risk terrifies them.

Personally I find it reassuring that there were Marshalls on the flight.
