They aren't made of hemp so why would you be getting them?
hubby has a pair, they are OK for a Chaco knock off.

I'm totally sold on Chacos, for the great footbed and they are just so well built. I sent a 7 year old pair back last year that had small cracks in the sole, and got a brand new warranty replacement. You can find them on sale at times, I'm trying to think of where I saw them recently for $45.
I'm sure Teva lost a lot of sales when Chaco came along. The continuous strap and supportive footbed has no comparison to velcro.
