You know, the 2 pieces that hold the axle on the fork ?
One "screw-like" bit that adjusts the tesion and the sliced cup thingie that traps the axle on the fork ?

Well I bought a used '03 Z1 FR (for 90 bucks, yay !) and it's missing one.

I've been riding it for 4 months now with only the closing set on one leg, and thus no front brake to avoid wheel loss issues.

I called Marzo to see if I could get one from them ... $40 + 8 bucks shipping.
Talk about overpriced engineering... ink:
I can live on $50 bucks for 2.5 moths in "economic" mode!

Does anybody know if you can get those from anywhere else for a reasonable price?
any hook-ups out there? (ie. you got one laying around from a somewhere?)

There must have been a communication issue.....because I am sure those things arent that expensive.

maybe it has to be bought as a whole kit? Both sides and with bolt?? I know someone who had to replace just the bolt and 1/2 moon nut on his 04 and the part retailed for 18 bucks.....

The bolts that tighten the lower piece on the drop-out of the qr20 are $20 for 1 bolt. I just bought these bolts off them, and they sent me 2 and billed me for 2, when I said I wanted 1.

I think they are quoting you for 2. Almost seems like a sales trick?

no thats the right price i had to buy one and it was 30-40 bucks. it rediculous. the shop i go to had a great solution for it though. on most seat posts were the seat clamps in there is that bolt with a cylinder kinda thing on the end. (see picture only the cylinder thing is round not oval) this worked great. good luck
