There are no official figures on the size of the problem, but Kani says the financial losses are obvious.
How long before they just cook it up and eat it? They will eat anything that can be dragged out of the water

I love sushi but I just can't bring myself to order jellyfish. The ones I see floating around here in the bay just look disgusting. I can't imagine eating one. I also did a little research. Turns out that they are composed of somewhere in the range of 90 to 95% water and little else.
