The aftermath of Mr. Trump

One thing Mr. Trump accomplished was to expose abcesses in our society, notably systemic racism, corrupt and out of control policing, and, to some degree, corporate misbehavior.

What we'll do with all this is to be seen. Mr. Biden and the crew he's bringing in with him will certainly right some wrongs, but I see them as absolutely sold out to the 1% and to large corporations.

I have absolutely no idea what would have happened had Bernie gotten the nomination. That's past, though, and I believe that he'll continue to push for social justice in many dimensions.

Sadly Trump not only exposed the cesspool of society but he enabled them and gave them a voice. I am afraid that we will be hearing from them for quite some time.

In the cleavage of the Tetons
Ideology aside, I don’t see any President being successful while being at war with ‘big business’, they are too entwined.
Whether we like it or not. But sure, some regulatory/ethical progress can be made, IMO.

How much of this might Mr. Biden want or manage to do?
1) Feed them what are hungry.
2) House them that are homeless
3) Just dump the failed war on drugs.
4) Eliminate the TSA and INS.
5) Let failing corporations, including banks, fail.
6) Stop for-profit medicine as enabled by Nixon.
7) Eliminate for-profit prisons.
8) Break up airlines, return to the regional model.
9) Increase tax on high earners significantly.

I believe he is planning on executive action on for profit prisons this week. Much of the rest will require action from the legislative branch.
