I saw the regional heroes the Avett Brother for the third time last night at an outdoor community music festival. These guys are definitely on the up and up, and are one of the most fun bands I've every seen live. They're kinda difficult to categorize, but I guess you could call them newgrass. I saw them for the first time a year ago at the same festival, and was completely blown away when a seemingly typical 3 piece bluegrass band started screaming, and breaking guitar and banjo strings every other song or so.
Heres my shots, the lighting was pretty strange and I dont have a good flash yet, but all things considered I was pretty happy with what I ended up with. I'm loving my new 20D.
