Ah... Yeah. Germany is a special case tho.
They fucking love shit city bikes.
And as brompton are a British brand they will also be an import.

Bromptons are fairly reliable. But TBF WTF wouldn't be doing a couple of half Mile journeys a few times a week from the train station to the office?
Just get a BMX FFS!
There's also the hipster culture around Bromptons. They have a batshit crazy accessories market, such as titanium racks, seatposts, handlebars, and dedicated Brooks leather saddles.

How are you getting your DH bike up the hill on a steep pirate track, eh? :brow:
There were times where I walked more than I rode my bike between trail building and pushing uphill.
Half the reason I never got in with clipless was how hard it was to do push runs in those shoes :D

Spent pretty much every weekend in the mid 90s pushing a DH bike for 6 hours a day to ride it for maybe 30mins total. Usually hungover.

They had the best beam pattern of any light I've owned but the bar mount was a joke, as was the charge port cover, they lasted months.
I wish more people would use a reflector instead of a lens, or at least put more effort in to designing a lens so there's less wasted light and they are less annoying to others.

My Bougie Swiss/Chinese light has a lens and it is designed for a short and wide throw but if you don't want an annoying hot spot just in front of you you still have to aim it up and annoy oncoming walker/riders.

My L&M self-contained was crappy, after a year or so I couldnt charge because the usb board inside the housing pushed back, it was susceptible to those by poor design. I contacted them and basically got a “whelp?” response that didnt take any responsibility. After that, I never considered their stuff. And as pointed out on other boards, they failed to innovate and bring anything new, like wireless remotes, the newer higher capacity sells, etc. I wont miss em at all. I have two other self-contained approximately the same size, blackburn and cygolite, both still work while the L&M does not.

Also, I dont give a crap about making the light less bright, I want it to be as annoying as possible for cars.

I always say "walkin's for the birds". I ride my bike if I need to go more than 100m across my property.
Sorry man, if you want to fit in the US, riding a bike is not good enough. It needs to be some ICE-powered device that gets you across this distance. If it is an e-bike it is acceptable, but only if you charge it with a generator. ;)
And WTF is with these "Royal with Cheese" units? :disgust1: ;)
