I know how I feel about them: they're stupid.Still not sure how I feel about a manual ev, but maybe.

Brammo did a gearbox on an ev moto, but yeah, electric motors can spin forever, so it makes a gearbox pointless. But I guess it gives you something to do.I know how I feel about them: they're stupid.
It's probably more dumb than the "engine noises" that they generate for some EV's.Brammo did a gearbox on an ev moto, but yeah, electric motors can spin forever, so it makes a gearbox pointless. But I guess it gives you something to do.
You know I'm gonna make motorcycle noises when I get my emoto. It's probably more dumb than the "engine noises" that they generate for some EV's.
poor americans so many interesting vehicles around the world. That '59 El Camino is pretty sweet!
This is interesting. I loved my '82 Scirocco. Didn't know there was a newer version elswehere in the world.
and when it blows a head gasket ....poor americans so many interesting vehicles around the world.
I always liked the Saturn version, but both were way underpowered. Yet still better than a Miata.
also no trunk room. design fail.I always liked the Saturn version, but both were way underpowered. Yet still better than a Miata.
I had honestly never looked. I test drive one way back, but never looked at the storage, I was too disappointed in the lack of power in the "Red Line"also no trunk room. design fail.
I saw at least 10 of those over the weekend, it was odd.
I dig it! A bit out of my price range and it's wrong hand drive, but it's hot.Good looking car, not that I'm about to get one.
I briefly worked for a small engineering company where a few of the engineers were co-owners. They were all super conservative religious types. One of the guys was telling me he was sad that his son wasn't interested in the family business. The kid traded the truck he had been given for a Solstice and moved to South Beach to be a photographer for show dogs.

I didn't have the heart to explain it to him.
The approach angle is awesome but I'd think it would cost a bit to repair if you had a small front end impact.you just never want to hit anything...
Fucking morons doing everything under the sun on their smartphones while driving has a lot more to do with it than the size of the vehicle.Pedestrian deaths reach 40-year high
Heavy cars and bad roads make walking more dangerous.www.axios.com
No enforcement of driving rules really helps.Fucking morons doing everything under the sun on their smartphones while driving has a lot more to do with it than the size of the vehicle.
That’s not what the report says. It points to vehicle size, more of them on the road and infrastructure (no sidewalks). It also points to speeding and a lack of enforcement from local governments that have cut back on this. I’m sure distraction and phones have an effect, but that’s not what is driving this increase.Fucking morons doing everything under the sun on their smartphones while driving has a lot more to do with it than the size of the vehicle.
I think it might be a combination of both. My mom was asking me why I don't bike with the boy through town, we could easily go through less busy side streets. But I feel that drivers are so distracted these days that it's not worth taking the risk...Fucking morons doing everything under the sun on their smartphones while driving has a lot more to do with it than the size of the vehicle.

Share the road, right? This is how people drive carsView attachment 195962
Thanks for that. I disagree with with the report. Hitting a person walking on the side of the road with a smart car or a ford f350 going 50mph is going to have the same outcome. That’s not what the report says. Yes, but look at the graph. Everyone has had a smartphone for 10 years. What is happening in the last 3-5? Their findings seem reasonable to me.Thanks for that. I disagree with with the report.
