Factory workers on the Cybertruck line said their schedule had been inconsistent since late October. Four workers told BI that several times after arriving at work, they’d either been sent home or given additional training exercises or cleaning duties to fill their scheduled work hours

In other news, jesus christ I still hate hyundai dealers. Saw a local lease special, emailed about it and the next trim down is 2.5 times more expensive. Glad I didn't make the trip- classic bait and switch action.

Trying another dealer but expectations are very low.

Is that pickup a mitsubishi? I fell in love with the L200 when I spent some time in the carribean. Can't get them here because of the chicken tax, apparently. Would be nice to have a compact pickup (not a midsize)
It was a mercedes and it was large!

Pretty sure this is the direction I am going to shoot for, not sure if I will build from scratch or buy a build and figure how I want to build my own after running for a while.

its about the only possible solution for a street legal sand car in the state of oregon.

My neighbor was telling me he took his Bronco to the dealer for a scheduled service. The kid who checked him in had to go get a tech to pull it into the shop because he couldn't drive a stick.

If you own a dealership, how hard would it be to teach your staff how to pull a manual into the shop? You don't have a beater kicking around you could burn a clutch on in the parking lot?

The funny thing is that this almost everything I DON’T want in a vehicle.

I am ambivalent about electric cars. I don’t really care that it comes from PRC either. However, all of the displays, motors and other electronic accessories are just added complexity and potential problems. No thanks.

This is what I like about my electric moto. No screens (just a small LCD), all buttons are real buttons, everything is in the place that you expect it to be on a gasser (minus the no clutch/rear brake instead). I wish they would make a car like that.

Honestly that's what I thought too. Saw it in the parking lot in one of the 'reserved" spaces, and was like "daayyyyuuuuuum". Googled it to find out it was a FWD puick

It is just a sedan with enough lift and bloat to convince buyers they are Rugged Seniors. Now they can park in that spot at the Golden Corral with the root bump in it.

It's a two-row crossover hot hatch sport utility wagon assault vehicle

But it can't haul my non-existent family of 8 in luxury over the Rubicon while I haul a load of mulch I will probably have the landscapers deliver. I hope it at least comes with a rooftop tent I will use once every five years.
