They won't. They will suck it up as it will cost way too much to move, rehire and retool.

Some parts cross the border 10-15 times before the car is fully assembled, ridiculous that the finished product can't.

I was half-joking but there is no shortage of UAW workers or dormant plants in MI. Add in the fact that much of tooling used at canadian plants is redundant (ie. same vehicles built on both sides of the border) and it's not out of the realm of possibility.
