Oil Prices Drop to Year-And-A-Half Low

Light, sweet crude for February dropped $2.73, or 4.7 percent, to settle at $55.59 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The settlement follows a 4.5 percent decline on Wednesday and represents the lowest settlement price since June 15, 2005.

Yup, by claiming that they need to refill all our reserves that they emptied to reduce gas prices before the election to make the Repubs look good.

Of course, they actually do need to refill the reserves, but they won't be doing it for the right reasons.
