I am assuming since most of the culprits who chimed in for this are left coast ballers I will assume we will hold this prestigious event in truckee/tahoe thus being able to bomb gnarstar during the same said drunken debauchery.

how many peeps are we looking at and what possible time frame.....what say you?

anyone live in the area where we can crash the pad or camp the lawn? who has connections and possible hookups. I just surfed craigslist and there are alot of condos on the runs running about 125 a night that can sleep a pile....been then againt here wont be any sleeping. even if 5 peeps chip in thats a 100 bucks each for 4 days

I talked to my buddy with the condo in Truckee. She just sold it this morning.

However, if I got on it now, we could get a place in Tahoe or Truckee. Its kinda pointless to drive to Reno every day in my opinion. Let me know if I should start hunting for a place.

For me the only thing that really works is that first weekend in August. I have a pile of fun starting down here on the 17th of August, so I am out until my trip to Whistler in mid-September.

I'm planning on heading up to Tahoe the weekend of Aug. 13th Weekend of the 5th is out though. Son's 1st b-day and all. I probably shouldn't miss that one.

Most likely I'd just camp though. Been doing it that way for almost 10 years now.

so we have a month to put this together, as far as pads go I would much rather be in a place where I dont need to drive.....once I start a 4 day binge, I dont stop.

I am willing to pitch in for costs including the booze I am bringing and can help out on BBQ items a well. but I am assuming everyone will do the same. no freerides!

if we do this right it will be a hell of a lot cheaper all going in than battling it on your own for the weekend. do we have a tally of peeps yet?

Keep in mind, too, that with the Aug. 5 weekend being mentioned here, N* will be having their Thursday Night XC series going on. $15/race. Would be a good way for some "playful battling" amongst us. I know I'll be there.

With this. I can rock a tent all weekend if need be. It might actually be a bit more fun to take down a large campsite... Unfortunately (or fortunately) there will likely be minimal bringing home of strays.
