unlikely he'll have unlimited time for that:

"Bannon faces another trial scheduled for December over criminal charges brought by New York prosecutors alleging that Bannon defrauded people who donated money to build a wall along the southern border. He’s pleaded not guilty in that case to charges including fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy. "

That assumes an awful lot.

worth mentioning that the 3 other guys involved in the build the wall fraud scheme have already been sentenced to 3, 4 1/2, and 5 years of prison, respectively. along with $1.8m and $25m in restitution.

I continue to be impressed by how well our system of voting actually works, despite all of the attempts to screw with it. The error rates are so, so low, especially given the scale and patchwork nature of the entire system.

It's been said a million times. Voter fraud, even when it happens, which is almost never, is a statistical zero. No election in this country has ever had its needle moved by "fraud". The system works, which is why Republicans keep trying to fuck it up.

and despite its robustness, its somehow "too complicated" for large swaths of the GOP base to understand. so even when it's functioning *properly* they will claim its fraud.

Except for the ongoing fraud of outright lies pedalled by Fox, Sinclair, trump and the entire rightwing circus.
