i think the best sounding ferrari ever is the 355..
i always wonder how much time ferrari devotes to their exhausts.. they are freaking music intruments....
but the best sounding engine overall, a high lift, high overlap cammed big block...
That has to be the most amazing waste of 15 years of a mans life that I have ever seen. I dont mean that in a bad way, that car is amazing. Alexis, I have to agree with you on the 355. The 355 was the first Ferrari I had the pleasue of driving. The car had the TUBI exhaust which made the sound even louder and deeper. That still has to be the dream car, 355 F1 Convertible in red of course!!!

i hear a yellow one, every other day... i remember that 355 was on a raflle like 10 years ago... i remember my dad got a couple tickets...
a guy i know has a 911 (the new one with round headlights) with a fabspeed exhaust... the most awesomest sound...
he told me it was like 1600 bucks for the muffler alone.. :hot: but i have to say those are not mufflers.. they are more like well tempered musical instruments...
out of factory, is Ferrari exhaust tuned to a specific note? if it is, i figure it's probably C, like some casinos supposedly are. someone should look into that.
Wow. That is nuts. I did a little math. 20,000 hours = 9.62 years at 40 hours a week.
That thing is absolutetely amazing. I wonder if Ferrari has offered him a job yet.
I don't get it, if the guy could make one to fit on his living room table, why not build one 15% bigger and make the coolest go cart ever. It would kill me to have something that cool and no be able to drive/ride it????
Freaking awesome. I spent a good hour at the Phoenix airport looking at the scale model aircraft engines they have on display. I'd love to see that car in person.

They are actually in the $1k range and Fabpeeds are notorious for lots of resonance/drone in certain RPM ranges.
The Turbo version is a bit more pricey (still a good deal of drone though) but allows you to swap out the muffler portion of the exhaust for straight pipes.
The straight pipes are brutal and loud but still don't compare to a 360/355 running Tubi.

yup, 1k bucks in the states.. 1600 bucks in Peru after getting raped by taxes and shipping....
things are hella expensive here, a plain 911 with a few options is as much as a turbo in the US....
ferraris... dammit, i saw a 360 spyder retailing for 300k last year...
