I rented it and had it for 2 weeks (blockbusters new policy is sweet!) and then i got it for my bday. Havent played lately cuz ive been busy, i might go play it in a few mins

I'm so hooked & I don't have a PS2 (yet). I played a 99 lap race trading off the controller yesterday. 3 hours to finish the race, yikes.

(before anyone asks, no you cant take pics of multiple cars in photo travel mode. i took 3 seperate photo's of the cars and put them together in photoshop.)

Tried it with the following cars : Saleen S7 900hp, Viper STR10 1050hp, Ford GT 850hp, and i couldnt win any race. I had to buy a Viper Team Oreca 600hp, and guess what, it smoked all of the above cars! So after so much pain and $$$ i win the tournament and i get as a gift a crappy convertible from the 54s .

Hint. The all japan championship gives you a Nissan Z LM version that is worth 320.000$. So if you want fast-ish cash... give this tournament a few goes on director's mode.

check the 2nd hand car lots on days 694-700, you'll need about 8-9million credits o get all four cars, that price may be just for the pal version, i dont know if the credits system is the same as the US version.

Well is not that you can't do it, but recovery is tougher and you can't ride the wall quite as fast as before. DO NOT try it with an open wheel vehicle, doesn't work too hot

Personally I hated that about GT3. How realistic is riding a wall at 120mph and not loosing any speed? rolleyes: Maybe its cause JustJames slaughtered me with his little cheater moves

mmm, i just started playing gt4 today. did it fresh at first, went through a few beginner series and got mostly silvers (with a couple of bronze and a few golds) on the A and B license tests. and then decided to start again, transferring my gt3 licenses and credits and kicking some tail in the beginner leagues with my shiny viper. heh

do i need a usb thumbdrive to transfer pics from the ps2 to the computer?

yes but not all usb flash drives work.

i won the F1 race with the GT ONE car. just made the transmission accel MUCH faster. that and other mods. but barely won. then won the GT F1 car after that freakin 24hour race, good thing there 3 of them...i finished all the endurance races finally. yes, mostly using B(itch)-spec mode. but damn, you get some cool cars from those races. the Roadster one SUCKED. i did that like 50times.....
do have to say i hat the F1 car, i'd sell it, but don't need money now... also i'm only at like 32% and i beat the endurance, pro, beginner, most the missions, and dealer races, only like 4 rally races. what the hell am i missing? i should atleast be like 50-60% done
