Paris Hilton's mom calls McCain ad "waste of money"

Kathy Hilton, the mother of the blond socialite-actress, lambasted the Republican presidential candidate's advertisement in a blog posted on the political Web site Huffington Post (www.huffingtonpost.com).

"It is a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign," Hilton wrote.

Is it ironic that the same could be said for her daughter? I guess no worse than calling Paris an "actress".

I think you are right. An individual can only give $2300 per candidate and $28,500 to the party.

So as a pair of individuals, $4600 would be the limit they can personally give to the candidate directly, as the law allows. It just sounded funny, I guess.

I read somewhere Paris's grandfather had quiet the rant for McCain when the commercial aired. And to quote Stephen Colbert, "Paris's grandfather heard of a movie made with McCain and Paris and just assumed the worst"
