I just learned there's a new Indiana Jones film being released next year. The last release was terrible.

Hell, I was listening to someone explain a few weeks ago how the usual way to get rid of oil wells and waste is to sell them off to smaller and smaller companies as the production declines. Eventually, after BP, Conoco and so on have sold them off, a small company is holding the ball when it all dries up and they declare bankruptcy, because they can't afford to clean up and restore the site. Then we as taxpayers end up paying for it all. Yay capitalism.

Must be all over Alaska, as it's definitely a problem all over Colorado.

Not sure what you guys are screaming about , the system is clearly working within design parameters. 'Tis a feature, not a bug.

Fox news is infowars in training.

I have seen a few non Fox based articles about the new bot and it seems to write amazing work. So what does that do for our collective critical thinking? If Google is writing a better research than you can after doing said research, what does that say about our future?

our future?
LOL

There isn't one.

The idea of a 'society' has always been developing tools to enrich an individual's and community's ability to critically think and develop ideas. The academic process exists to achieve these goals. They presumably (and mostly) will do this from a humanistic perspective because hey, human. Just because someone came up with a computer process that passes tests better than a meat bag, doesn't mean there's purpose in it or that that it's good. Because the purpose of a society is those that live within it.......not test results. No shit, this is how some asshole creates skynet. Because ego and missing the point is inherent in this evolving technology cult.

It doesn't surprise me at all. Not so much now because advertising, but google's search engine was better than me at history 10 years ago. It's a similar scenario. People will forget that the point of society is the people within it. We already have. We'll do in the name of "progress", what rideit just posted.

So yeah in a slightly more roundabout way, I toally agree with you. More kids will be deemed irrelevant because......I don't know.....neat blinky lights or some stupid shit.

Might actually improve Boeing's product :D

Anyway, kill billionaires. Our convenience has always rested on the backs of forgotten, destitute peoples. This will just make more of them. These fucks with play cash are just accelerating it.

Get over it. The idea of a 'society' has always been empowering and enriching the few and enslaving the many.
