it wasn't that bad, honestly. and that's ME talkin'It's been a while since I've done that climb out from the river, I recall it being pretty steep, but not ridiculously so.
No. CT seg 1, backwards from South Platte.Centennial Cone?
Like others said, when I read this I though "Well how did you picture us??!!" ha ha. This is my normal countenance... running off at the mouth about something, beer in hand, questionable fashion sense...this is not how I pictured you guys... looks like a good time!
This is rad. And, not what I pictured in my head! To be fair, I just honestly assume that everyone on the Monkey are young people... I forget I've been here for nearly twenty years. Even the people who were actually teenagers when I first joined are in their 30s with kids now. WTF!I rode the lifts with my boy for the first time this past weekend. It was a hit. I think he likes it. We did five laps of 'Porter' to 'Growler'.

Agreed. We sure do get to ride in some awesome places (some awesomer than others)Lots of awesome fall leaf-peeper pics in this thread. Some really nice photos! I rode in Telluride a couple weeks ago at leaf peak, here's a couple from that weekend...
Tempting signature material.haha, I think with @Pesqueeb , because of the avatar, I pictured looking a little like a crazy-eyed deranged Brad Pitt...
Nice! The Mayor got this pic of me yesterday, riding a little (but with a fairly tricky entrance) rock ramp/roll. I don't ride this trail often, so I've never actually ridden this as I always come in set up in the wrong place to get it. Was pretty stoked to do a little session and figure it out!
Maybe lil' bit. But us graybeards need to stick together. Are you saying I look old?!?!?!
Really shows the dimensions of the 124 and how massive it is against another massive plane.
I am living on the wrong side of the country I guess. Here it was overcast and raining all day.Another great day of riding. More the weather and scenery then the trail system but good to ride something different than the usual trails.
Maybe lil' bit. But us graybeards need to stick together.
I feel like this picture should be in this thread for posterity...
They're bifocals to boot.I always imagined SS to be the kind of person who wears self dimming glasses. Holy shit, was I correct?
They're bifocals to boot.
All these times I have given you a hard time I thought I was joking with a peer. Turns out I was disrespecting an elder.
I am sorry sir.
