The beer spot today overlooked the entrance/exit trail through a grassy field. One buddy had to leave early, so we watched him ride away.....and totally eat it on one of the turns. Lols were had.

Trail work yesterday. Le tired and slept in, but was able to get up just in time to watch top 10 Elite men.

Nice sign. Crazy that time was invested to put that up, but not to remove or find a replacement.

It's been a while since I've done that climb out from the river, I recall it being pretty steep, but not ridiculously so.

The Mayor got this pic of me yesterday, riding a little (but with a fairly tricky entrance) rock ramp/roll. I don't ride this trail often, so I've never actually ridden this as I always come in set up in the wrong place to get it. Was pretty stoked to do a little session and figure it out!

As @6thElement mentioned in yesterday's GMT, my financée also rode with us. This trail is a level above her technical experience level, and she did awesome. She just keeps getting better and better on the bike... I should get some pictures.

this is not how I pictured you guys... looks like a good time!
Like others said, when I read this I though "Well how did you picture us??!!" ha ha. This is my normal countenance... running off at the mouth about something, beer in hand, questionable fashion sense...

I rode the lifts with my boy for the first time this past weekend. It was a hit. I think he likes it. We did five laps of 'Porter' to 'Growler'.

This is rad. And, not what I pictured in my head! To be fair, I just honestly assume that everyone on the Monkey are young people... I forget I've been here for nearly twenty years. Even the people who were actually teenagers when I first joined are in their 30s with kids now. WTF!

Lots of awesome fall leaf-peeper pics in this thread. Some really nice photos! I rode in Telluride a couple weeks ago at leaf peak, here's a couple from that weekend...

haha, I think with @Pesqueeb , because of the avatar, I pictured looking a little like a crazy-eyed deranged Brad Pitt... :D

Are you saying I look old?!?!?!

Nice!
that picture is so misleading. 1. the tricky entrance IS tricky and b. the fall-away to rider's left is much worse than it appears. also STIL.

doesn't look like much, but it was hiding wet roots and rocks farther down the trail closer to the lake

fog burned off to blue skies. trail is on the lower right of the field, climb out from a decent descent farther along the ridgeline

Another great day of riding. More the weather and scenery then the trail system but good to ride something different than the usual trails.
I am living on the wrong side of the country I guess. Here it was overcast and raining all day.
