How is Yanceys these days?
running good! the upper part is getting some work done and the very last part (after the rock face) is getting a full reroute which, by the looks of it, will be super fun.

in a year or two they're going to put in a trail (Mark's Mtn) from near the top of the Roseboro climb to near the beginning of Yancey so you'll be able to skip the descent of Roseboro and the crappy mountains-to sea bit connecting roseboro to the start of yancey.

need to get the triangle crew up for a wilsons day SOON!

Warm today by the numbers, yet somehow didn’t feel as warm as I’d hoped ;) Still nice to get out. Bike felt solid and familiar. Loved that.

and looks like my thomson stem is done! Well, it was a good 10 year run... and wasn't catastrophic. Wonder when it broke.

If it is gonna break, that is the best you can hope for - no high adrenaline moment followed by a dirt nap.

Big ass storm rolled through and left these magical views behind.

The winter only trail here has just about returned to nature for the season.

Weather was nice in Portland (albeit a bit chilly for this desert dweller) so I took 1.5 day off and went riding.

Navigated through freshy gifts from geese and several homeless communes along 10 miles of paved bike path

The main destination. Builders did a great job on the main downhill jump line.

Wasn't planning on the beer until later, but it bounced out and the top popped a bit. Needs of the moment.

Also, my camera seems to have some smudges on the lens.

First whoopsie on the carbon wheels. I’ll need to peel off the tire and see if it’s salvageable. The stans would only hold pressure up to about 15psi then puke out the cut at the bead.
