So, another fine evening. Rode from the house at 7:00. Was on the absolutely busiest trails, went for a 2 hr, 2300vert ride, and saw one other dude the entire time. Was supposed to be a recovery ride, but my legs want to climb slowly but a LOT this year. (Confession, this pic is actually from Monday)

I dropped my family off at BZN airport yesterday [boo!]
According to my wife it's cheaper and apparently tastier [yay!] to spend 7 weeks in Spain home stays, than find a
short term, pet friendly summer rental in BZN. [boo!]
As the [longer than anticipated/nobody could've predicted] house remodel [boo!] draws to a close this fall. [yay!]
So I get to work / hide out in Idaho while taking care of the pupper [yay!] and keep an eye on my ailing mom [boo!]
In the past I've joked that N > 3.5 where N = bike rides per week is MY barometer for a 'good' week / summer.
I haven't seen those numbers since well before the Idahoozle real estate boondoggle 4 years ago [boo!]
Buy a second house near the goods "they" said.
My summer starts now and the next 7 weeks could break that dry spell [yay!]

Dry and dusty AF.
Rode the Manashtash trails tonight. Had some drizzle early on and then on the way home. Instead of riding solo we had a group of 12. Group rides are pretty fun!
