Converted with a 1500w motor and 1.6kwh battery with 9 power modes and a top speed of 100kmh and *only* weighs 62lb I believe.
Wow. He did a nice job on that. I wonder is he heat treated it after welding.

I made one like that recently with a 3750 watt motor.

That Formula shock feels incredible. That thing is going straight on my DH bike for today’s laps.

We have all the snow, except it's 33 degrees and faceted crap, with rain crust on top.

I don't actually think he welded any of the frame. I think it's all been cut out/milled to accept custom bolt in cradles/mounts etc.

Got lost on wrong way Wednesday and found some proper XC trails off the main loops, did 32km in the bush then had to go to work for a quick breakdown.

Awesome! No fucking about eh? a Proper Alpine spec Eeb!
How does it handle with such a big battery pack fairly forward mounted?
And what does it weigh all in?
Thanks man. I didn’t weigh it yet but I can still manual and jump it so it’s not too heavy.
It rides so much better than I thought it would and the battery helps load the front tire in corners. I only did one lap on the WC DH track but was giggling all the way down. It’s enjoyable whatever it is!
those and your bike pics are 4 days apart?

there must be some elevation between those two
Maybe a 1000 ft difference. There wasn’t much depth in those pics and now it’s all gone. We’re also not at super high elevation here. Champery is at 3000ft and the top of the tram is at 6000ft. There are a lot of micro climates here due to the southerly winds coming up from Italy and Africa. We got that fuckin Foehn hot wind and then 2 days of very high winds with heavy rain. It‘s like spring slush up there now and rained again all yesterday.

Mid December was nice even though there was no base. It’ll come back.
These are from Dec 15.

I couldn't have done this little loop at the start of my holidays so I was pretty happy to be able to knock it out without having to stop for a rest.
I did miss a km or so as someone has moved some logs that marked a turn and I went the wrong way.
Celebrate with BBQ and beer.

You ever teeter the totter on The Vein, Nelson BC?
Nope, but I'd love to try. Got any pics?

There's only been 1.5 teeters around here that had a sketch factor high enough to make me not be confident doing them, one of which (possibly both) hasn't existed for many years. Lynn Woods rotating teeter to flat huck and B&T teeter at the top of a steep rock roll.

Had to turn around shortly after this, as there is something wrong with my rear hub. Ughhhhh. Hopefully it's just a bearing or something, but it feels like one of the pawls is getting stuck and then suddenly snaps into place. Twas also preventing the cassette from freewheeling a few times.

Le sigh.
