New local environs.

A member of the landed gentry was gruffly displeased by my existence, and it's not much of a trail network, but it was kind of amazing regardless, especially just riding out of my door.

Would seem I need to learn about suspension bob and a lower BB.
Riding an essentially featureless trail and I got flicked 90deg at a tree, hahaha!

Having lived in the northeast my whole life I can't imagine riding and seeing a giant lizard crawling up a tree. Pretty awesome.
Moderate sized lizard, I'll hopefully get a photo of a big lad soon.
They are out looking for birds' eggs at the moment, plus lots of other stuff I guess.

A place I used to ride was loved by the lizards, they had no escape from the singletrack so they'd hammer around a berm in front of you from time to time.
Pretty funny seeing a 4ft lizard going at full pace round a berm.

Exploratory ride today. Learning the good (and bad) routes! Modern bike built and dialed. Feels so good to have a dhf up front and a modern drivetrain again.

How much fun is riding XC with Enduro tyres?!
I enjoy pedalling through corners, hearing both tyres pushing and your pedal's pretty much in the dirt, low BBs are not for me.

And I saw a spotted Pardalote, never seen one of them up close.
