No snow yet, but hard frozen trails are pretty damn fun. Even got to see the sun today for 30 minutes.

Other than crashing on the climb (lawn dart screwing up a pass on an "up and over" rock move), then on corner #4 of the descent (stuffing my front wheel onto a rock just out of view, and going OTB) was a swell ride. Just swell.

I blame the lower temps messing with my suspension.

Smacked my head both times, but nothing major. Just the slightest dent in the plastic of my helmet. ON EACH SIDE!!! And I scratched the reservoir of my super baller brake lever, bars, and took a nick out of a stem bolt. It was not my day.

Still beats workin'.

I have no idea where I am
Bent Creek. I ride there alot after work since it’s so close to the house.
Explorer or Deerfield ? Or Wolf Branch or whatever connecter that takes you to Rice Pinnacle.

Last time I rode BC I was kind of shocked at how much traffic it gets now compared to when I lived there. I'd never go there on a weekend now, way too many other humans.

I ride on early weekday afternoons or night rides. You are right, generally kind of Crowded on weekends. Weekends are for Mills or Hatchery

The view from 11500ft from Squaw Mtn looking West towards Mt Evans.
Followed by the view looking East back towards my house ~13 miles as the crow flies and 4000ft below me.

Post-ride brats cooked in brown ale. Pooches were well pleased with their trail run and their reward at the end.
