Why do you have that silly gear indicator on your shifter, which doesn't actually indicate anything? You could save a gram or two! :busted:
Yeah, it used to bug me. The retro fit cover plate was too hard to source, and I have since chosen to soldier on...

Got the black bike up and rolling again. Had an issue with the sleeve where the top linkage bolts into the frame, it was rotating. Dave Turner got it turned around quick and I'm back on the dirt. Changed out a bunch of bearings, changed to the Works headset, then spent the morning ripping down the trails. Went back home, worked on my Pivot and changed the bottom headset bearing and then the PF92 BB bearings (holy F, the raceface bearings are shitty, the "cage" is just plastic) to the Hope double-row bearings, then went out and rode a bunch more. The 2nd ride was even better than the first. I attribute that to the maxxis icon 2.35 tires I put on the Pivot, they just turn the bike into a ferarri in terms of grip, coupled with the low-travel that is perfect for that area, I had an insane amount of fun. A little cloudy this morning, then sunny in the afternoon, soooooo freaking nice after being in OklaTexaArsas over the last month. From 100 degrees to nice 60s and sun, perfect riding weather today.

It's a large and I'm "only" 5' 10.75".

I have a hell of a time finding 30x34 jeans though..especially in Texas.
