What is "harbl"?

What is a "grom"?

I am still relatively new here, though I have been doing a lot more reading than posting. Honest, educated answers to these two very important questions will go a long way to making me a better monkey.

Shut up and Ride
Grom
A grom or grommet isnt necessarly a biginner surfer/biker/skater but a YOUNG surfer/biker/skater... usually under the age of 15. Some of the time people that are called groms are youngins who RIP (are good)

Harbl
A cat penis. Note: This term is only used by cat's or gays.

I'm in your sink stroking my harbl.

harbl is european slang for hardboiled egg... and grom is slang for grandmother.

ex: "Grom... fix me up a harbl will you please."

:brows:

Damn dude. I thought I had it all sorted out, then you go and throw a wrench in the works.:bonk:

Do you know Shirley?
No, it's just coincidense.

I checked out your website, great pics!!!

Do you ride XC ?
Thanks. Yeah, most of what I ride around here is xc. I also have a Stumpy FSR that I got in early spring. Haven't riden it since I got the Enduro though. Lately I have been looking for more jumpable, gravity inspired terrain to ride. Thinking about trading the stumpy to a friend for a 50" DLP TV. Feels like a lame trade though since I don't watch much tv.:banghead:

Ever ride Camp Orange?
Mostly around High Point, NJ since it's close, Stewart (but only once this year), Minniwaska, a place in PA that I'm not supposed to talk about:brows:, and last, but most certainly not least, this sewer hole that I live in... The mighty and grand, Middletown, NY.

Camp Orange sounds familiar. Not sure why. But, no, I have never ridden there. Where is it?

Yeah, that's the place we used to go late night 4x4 driving. That's why I recognized the name. I thought about checking it out but never made it there.

Lately I have been going to Action Outfitters in Milford, PA. Developed a real good relationship with the guys there (by relationship, I mean I spend ass loads of cash there), so I get hooked up nicely all the time. Before that, it has been Joe Fixit in Goshen, NY. They are great guys too, but the atmosphere has changed a lot in that shop. Not really the young, care free vibe I like.

Unfortunately, my riding is over for the season. Shoulder surgery tomorrow. I hope to be back in shape for snowboarding this winter.

Funny, I bumped into a guy at Stewart who hung out at AO's in PA and knew about some secret trails in PA as well. He was from Deer Park or something.

Are they any good?
All private land?
It's alright. Kind of a double track the entire way. Few miles of up then a ride along a senic ridge, then some real flowy decents. Towards the bottom there is some tight singletrack that makes me hurt a lot when things don't go so well. All in all about 9 miles.

We keep it quiet because a few people we know are trying to make it legal to ride there. You can hike and ride a horse there, but no bikes. If it gets too popular, the whole thing will get squashed. I don't even want to ride there until it is legal, just because I don't want to be that guy who ruins it for everyone. Plus, the fines are pretty steep if you get cought.

I still like High Point better than the PA ride for the type of terrain it offers. Rocky and rooty to start, fast flowy, wide single track, then more rocks, but on a down hill. All the while passing lakes and streams.
