We got 2 of the 3 pods delivered to the house on Friday and had a 3 man crew unload and reassemble stuff in the house. We still have the third pod with the household stuff ( kitchenware, pots and pans , dishes etc) and the guest bedroom bed, plus all of our artwork, which should get here on Wednesday after they pick up the empty pods so we have room on the driveway for it. The kitchen remodel should be done by Sept 1 so until then the camper is our kitchen.
here is how its taking shape
Living room

home gym

Master bedroom ( that's a Cal King bed for size reference)

when we started packing for this move anything that had not been used in two years got tossed so we really don't have much junk to sort through or unpack

excellent, the plumber will be here on Wednesday to redo the gas lines. The existing metal pipe to the water heater is substandard and will be replaced with black pipe and the line extended to provide gas for the dryer and the new stove.

we should be fully moved in by the weekend

cool the new proper size gas lines are in and the washer, dryer, and waterheater are correctly plumbed and up and running. The plumber were here for 10 hours getting the gas lines to the house repiped. We still have the kitchen cabinets and counter to come in befor we can install the new stove and hood. The house has very few lights in the ceiling so we are having new ceiling fans and LED Can lights installed. Following the lighting we will increase the attic insulation from a paltry R9 to R38. But the house is livable.

laundry and water heater in the garage

the kitchen, new gas line is behind the cbinet to the left of the range, all the cabinets and counter tops will be gone in a week

got the last of our crap over here tonight. Put the camper in the side yard, fired up the BBQ and let the doggies rip around the back yard for a few hours. Going to be unpacking for a few weeks it seems. I can't wait to sleep on the Cal King tonight after enduring a crappy worn out queen bed at the MIL's for 3 months
