Here he is in living color. For those not in tune for the introductory thread on my Siamese cat's eyeball saga, I bring you what is hopefully the sequel. Prince is a 2 year old male seal point applehead Siamese. His brother King seen at the bottom is the same, but only 7 months old. As for the names? My daughter named them, so step off already :mumble:
About 1.5 months ago a happy herperes ( rhinotracheitis ) virus decided to take up permanent residence in my cats focking left eyeball. NOT
I bring to you the before and after pictures of his cornea graph. A good portion of his cornea was gone when we finally brought him to the animal eyeball specialist. With a little bit of hope and $1600 the doc said he could do a cornea graph and replace his damaged cornea. I guess his eyeball was like 1 cell layer from bursting. However after the operation and the medicine
and these
he's lookin like a champ
Here is is 6 hours after the operation
1.5 months later. His left eyelid is still not open all the way at times from being stitched closed so long, but it's getting there
Here's his bro, King
and their brother PUDGE who is 10 years old. He's a sharpie/pitbull mix. He's as friendly as a lark when your in the house, but he's all business when your on the other side of the front door ringin da bell. He's got issues with his toenails (they grow like 3" a month) and have to be cut by the vet. Whatever you do "DON'T TOUCH HIS FEET" caus he'll bite your arm off. He's gotta be knocked out with 2 doggie valiums 1 hour before going to the vet just to get him in the door, which is still a Marine effort. He's a stealth 97lbs and there ain't an ounce of fat on him.
