much riding on the fork yet? first impressions? comparison to older dh 2.0 if available
yes it kills the '04 2.0, which I thought was a damn good fork I'll have a write-up in a week or so. Ive had the fork since dec. 23 so ive got some time on it. This is the best fork I've ever ridden, it feels as good as my friends avy, but more than 2lbs lighter.

I'd love you hear your comparison between it and the 888.

Its a system 1 with the system3/bones bashguard. The F1 requires you to run the custom boomerang that comes with it or else I'd have a system3. Look into one of those, it comes with the bashguard on my bike and works great.

that's sick. I just got my frame in the mail 4 days ago. i'm waiting on all my parts though. most of it is in the mail. I jsut need to order my dh 2.0, brakes, chainguide, hubs and rims. Looks sick dude. I can't believe that its down to 40.5 pounds. I'm guessing mine will be about the same. i was calculating mine to be about 42 or 43 pounds. All race face diabolus stuff exept for my north shore cranks. i thought I was going to get avid 7's but i'm now thinking about gustavs. not sure yet though. I give it 2 weeks and I'll have it built up... hopefully.

what made you go with the dhx over the romic?
