i blame Bush for letting the dollar slide so much. And then the jack ass has the nerve to tell us it's good for our economy. Who cares? I'll never be able to afford that bike!

I'd also imagine those shifting cables being ripped off by the lift attendants. Those rubber coated hooks have a funny way of pulling on things like that. Especially when a bike weighs 47 lbs or over.

At $6700, I can't think of a build that would be worthy of that frame. It'd have to be made of pure gold...
I would love to see someone scrimp and save for about a lifetime for that frame, then build it up with a junior T, hayes hfx-9s...

Wow. That price just blew my brains out of my skull.

Holy $hit! Sixty seven hundred... :mumble: dallas for a frame?!?!? :nope:

Well, I am cheap and I'd rather put my money to good use instead... maybe a used bike and the rest is for more new toys to fill up the garage space (i.e., Seadoo, KTM250, a souped up Yamaha Wolverine OR a stock Honda 400 EX)! :D :sneaky:

This is the reason why I purchased the Nucleon when I did. I knew I wouldn't be able to afford the newest inovation of the G-Boxx. I am very content because both my Nucleon and UFO have Rohloff hubs. I recently purchased another Rolhoff hub cheap for maybe another Nicolai frame next year. Wow when you think about it you can have 3 Nicolai bikes hooked up with Rolhoff hubs and still be below cost of a complete TST. These are the things I should be telling my wife.

$6700
Really? :D

For some strange reason I could see mountain bikers pulling armed robberies to get the latest and greatest :p
Not me, I say let the rich pay for the R&D for a little while ;)
I'll get mine when the market hits critical mass and gearboxes are everywhere..
I hope at least :D

Its fricken cool though! Its like the Ferrari I'll never own, but its cool its out there!
