Haha, nice to see the cutouts are catching on. I've seen 2 other bikes with them now.Anyone else experienced this on a later bike? (08 Factory). I might just get a replacement pin and see what it does.
Anyway, I'd take the shock out, and slide the lower shock pin in by hand to see where the play is. If it's between reducer and the DU then obviously new bushing time. If it's between the pin and the reducer, then maybe you can just measure the parts with a caliper to see what is out of whack. The reducer should be ~10mm ID, and the pin should have roughly the same in OD. If a past setup (on either the reducer or the pin) had a tight DU, the reducer may have rotated on the pin itself, causing wear.
Probably goes without saying since you've had a Sunday for ages I think, but it always helps to make sure the bearings are seated properly and 22mm hexes are done up tight.
