Slight correction in Energy from the spike earlier in the week. Pretty sure there is room to grow in inflation depending on the Feds and the hike. The current conflict and sanctions are what is moving the energy sector around. Seems there might be a floor to gas prices yet.

Throwing this in here since the NFT thread is getting bleed over into crypto.

So this is going down as something that could literally devalue and centralize all crypto

TLDR version

since the FTX drama, the trade commission and SEC are going full moran with crypto

This year the SEC won a case against (LBRY) that its crypto was issued and sold as a security. This means that specific blockchain and crypto are now regarded as a form of fiat currency (USD)

now with some steam, the SEC is heading after ripple (XRP), and Cardano (ADA) and now dipping into the Binance/FTX deal, some say this could end up completely decentralizing all crypto and thus turning them into legit securities

And the dumb criminal hacker award goes to......

the looter tried to send tether (USDT) stablecoin on the Tron blockchain multiple times unsuccessfully because they didn’t have enough TRX, the Tron network’s native token, in the wallet to pay for transaction fees. So the looter used their verified personal account on crypto exchange Kraken to send 500 TRX to the compromised wallet address to cover the transaction gas fees
