@bullcrew Do you have one of these by any chance? I stupidly got the strongest one and can't quite close it in the 141Lb setting and it goes to 198. Seems my mechanic hands/forearms are weak, haha!

It's not often I'm impressed with the build quality of something, but this thing is nice.

That is way nicer than ones I've seen.

I bench press dumbbells and start 10x80, 10x105 and 3 sets of 10x125 so it works grip and supporting muscles, also in CrossFit So I do a ton of bar work and gymnastics moves from handstands to muscleups, farmers carries, pull ups, kipping and my hands and foreamrs are always getting smoked...

That said those work amazing I know people who have used them for forearm and grip..also a rope tied to a tube with a weight at the end and roll it up both directions.. roll up then roll down, reverse the roll up on next up...
This will get you grip and supporting forearm muscles as well as it adds size to forearms and tendon strength

If "they don't build them like they used to", and this is how they used to build them, I'd hate to see what new construction looks like.

I know you know this, but when someone says that, I think anything from the 80s is specifically what they are talking about, when comparing well built old things. :busted:

I don't even really remember the 80s, being born in 85, but Jesus Christ when I look at my parents photo albums from that decade....I'm kinda glad I don't.

A homeless tweaker popped out of the woods next to the lots in town when I was falling trees and excavating today. He walked right up and asked if I could help him invest his crypto into my holdings and ventures.

I asked what he's got, he pulled out a crown royal bag full of these.

In his mind, he thinks he is holding several million in Bitcoin and being safe physically holding them instead of them being in "the stock market" For those that don't know these are plastic tokens that you can buy off Amazon

I told him that he should go to the bank and ask them to set up an appointment for a brokerage advisor account and use his bitcoins to fund the account.
So you're telling me some filthy junkie has more bitcoin than me? Goddam it. He must have got in early.

I know. It's just one of those tropes that's repeated by every generation, thinking that they were so much better than the present day. The old timers of today (active during the 80's) are keeping that tradition alive.

Unless they are referring to things like the Sagrada Familia, in which case, they most definitely don't build them like they used to.

I'm insulting Star Trek AND Star Wars right now.
The real prize today turned out to be a barely literate Englishman. So much ammo there. The former rulers of the world now on the cusp of being third world and the alcohol dulled fuck defending them thinks you make your point by peppering your post with exclamation points like the Germans bombing London.

Says the tough guy riding a one-wheel? :busted: :p
Hey it's the faster, cheaper, patent-dodging, payment-in-crypto only Floatwheel. I've never owned a onewheel, that company sucks ass and their wheels will fuck you up. You can buy clean used onewheels all day from people with broken clavicles cause they are slow and can't keep up if you lean too far forward. Floatwheel ADV 2 preorders just opened up yesterday. It's more powerful than the 6 hp ADV 1 with better heat shedding. Prolly order at least one loaner/backup. Onewheel can eat my dick cheese.

Ordered something from Worldwide Cyclery-

Your Worldwide Cyclery order is currently undergoing the shipping process. A highly trained & well paid hamster will locate & pick your order from the shelves & place it onto a 900 thread count Egyptian cotton magic carpet.

Our world-famous packaging master traveled to the ends of the earth to find the finest satin-lined box that money can buy. Our entire staff stood in silence as the box was sealed up with the precision of a brain surgeon.

In case you may have gone over the bars too many times in your life & have already forgotten what you ordered, here it is:

Odd.

Arrgh!
Took a couple of brake pipes to have remade.
One was origanlly too long so it had a bow in it to reduce the overall length.
Take it to the brake guru, say I need a pipe remade the same length but with out the bow.

So he flattens the Bow and tells me it's a bit hard to know how long I want it.

Well it fuckin' is now!
