It was interesting, I was playing Entropia Universe (laugh now, I'm a geek) and I ran into some guys from Europe. It was interesting we were shooting the breeze and they thought the Iraq war was the right decision and think the U.S. was justified.

I guess it really got me thinking....most of the U.S. is against the war, is there a side not being reported here? (wouldn't surprise me with how our media filters itself). Any thoughts? I know there are some Europeans on this board, and I would be interested to hear a counter perspective.

That was GWB.

He plays that shi t every night when he's done with his bedtime prayers. Has to mask his identity for obvious reasons.

Yeah everybody in us have seen the Michael Moore films, yes everybody in US is against WAR, but everybody still voted for him in his re-election.
And is not a problem of the US people , here we used to have a president who sold all the state petroleum companies, telecomunications, water distribution, gas distribution, public Trasportation (state railways, metros, airlines). And before his relection 8 years later there where people still voting for him.

Not so good with the numbers are ya?
no sh!t...this cat needs to check his numbers. Bush may have been elected twice, but he lost the popular vote once and barely got it the second time.

Dude, you're already on the list. Much lower than Changleen, but you're on the list. They don't consider you a threat.

The war is great, unless you live in Iraq or are an american paying for it through taxes while your dollar falls through the floor. If i could watch it from europe it wouldn't bother me either.......and I'd get to see the Tour.

Those guys were not representative - even in the UK the war is seen as a cluster-****. In the rest of Europe the view is less positive than that, they are just a little smug that they're not involved.

Apart from Poland that is... I forgot Poland.

Tour de France- cycling is always on my mind, thus the wanna be Monkey syndrome I'm experiencing. Politics is just a distraction because none of us have any control, just the perception of control that the few in power let us entertain. BUt hey, it's a great forum and distraction when I can't get on the bike!

Thanks, the Monkey is teaching me great things about "sarcasm and irony" through text;)

I'm not thinking straight, I'm really crying after Kloden's and Vino's crashes. FOr the record, I was rooting for him last year way before he won the Vuelta. Love it when a fellow short dude kick's ass, but 1:20 down already and burned up the whole team trying to get back.

Oh yeah, back to iraq.

I like Americans. Apparently if you buy 2 you get a Canadian free. Bargain I reckon, not as cheap as a Kiwi but not much is nowadays.
Righto, I've pretty much insulted the English speaking world there, carry on.;)
