Okay how about this one?

Spent time with the California Golden Seals, the North Stars, Cleveland Barons and Penguins (and maybe a few other clubs too)

He first played in the NHL for the Montreal Canadiens during the 1968–69 season. A famous game against the Boston Bruins, then led by his brother, ended in a 2–2 tie, in which his brother scored both goals for Boston.

BTW, Malarchuk made a 100% recovery. IIRC, there was a vascular surgeon sitting rink side who helped out...

he was lucky he was at the end of the rink where the Zamoboni doors were. they were able to get him off the ice pretty quickly and attend to him. If he had been on the other end of the rink - I don't know if he would have survived. It was a "sick to your stomach" experience seeing all that blood on the ice in person. Really scary.
