So I'm sitting here with ice on my knee from todays crash at snowshoe. One minute I'm dropping off a boulder the next somehow my leg and the frame got twisted together as I went over the bars
All I can say is that this place is awesome. This was my first trip here since Norba 2001 and what a difference!! Some cool North Shore stuff, and of course nasty, wet, slick, steep rocks and roots. The DS is under construction and it looks much better then Sugar. Berms, step-downs, step-ups, rythmn section and looks like a couple doubles are going in. Pro DH is taped off and I'm sure most everyone knows that course. It is definitely wet in the woods and today was clear and sunny. Pro DH is not to wet, but will probably change soon. Forecast is calling for 30% scattered showers the rest of the week into the weekend.
I hope everyone makes it up. Already a lot of people here from the northeast. The South has got to repersent!!!
