It slaps

It wacks

It packs

Its the slappper...

Seriously, don't you get sick of being all hunched over slap packing? My back did so I cobbled together "the slapper" After I use it for a while I will get the angle just right and let you know what it is.

The ends are rolled and it is convex so it doesn't really dig in.

However, after using it for a while I will make one with a little less angle on the handle and mount the handle a little closer to the rear of the slapper.

I only spent about 1/2 hour on it because I wasn't sure if it would work well, but after using it I am pleased overall and I will make a keeper next week.

well lunch is over, back to diggin. . .

I typically use a 2X4 for smacking stuff into shape.

Been thinking about some kind of bat with a handle..... possibly with a curved shape.

Cricket bat maybe? :

A friend of mine was over digging yesterday and he was liking it, you can get a lot more slapps in before the back gives out.

It is working really good packing rollers and new stuff that is soft.

The pvc handle is great for absorbing the shock of slapping the sh!t out of stuff, my wrists and hands do not hurt as much as normal.

Not so great on old stuff that is packed and just needs shapeing.

The new one will have a smaller surface area to get a little higher psi.

I am getting some good r+d with all the rain we are getting.
