My old man tended the smoker on this batch. He's learned me how, but remains much better at it than I.

Montana's a big state. Narrow it down for me. Some little tributary of the Gallatin? The Madison? The Firehole?

Unless I take an unexpected winter trip, I won't be doling out any advice on smoking trout until next summer, at the earliest. It's hard to practice if you have no trout.
