Yep, classy speech. Supporters will be supporters, and I actually think he was a bit annoyed with their boos. Maybe that was just wishful thinking though.
He looked annoyed by it to me, too....

.... as for the booing, well, that's not new, that happens at concession speeches. :banghead: I didn't vote for McPalin, but I kinda feel bad for him.... what a debacle!

Towing the party line.
Anything linked on drudge in the last 18 hours. Every linked site's comment section has been inundated by bigots harping about the "death of america", the birth of "socialism and marxism and communism" and the idiots fearing that the middle east has a puppet muslim leader in the white house.

Oh let's not forget the guys who believe that Obama is not eligible to run for President as he isn't a US Citizen. (Right, the federal gov't doesn't at least check a birth certificate prior to a presidential nomination  )

It's comedy, but is saddening at the same time. So much ignorance that it is incredible America made it this far.

Incline Village not diverse for her?

She should focus on the brown, blue, green, and white; because if you move back to Atlanta, forget the forests and mountains of Tahoe.

He may be the President of the United States, but he is NOT my president, because my president does not call the Constitution a flawed document, does not call for socialistic change, vote to not give our troops funding...or go after talk radio & foxnews.

I agree. I am in a funk and woke up depressed this morning. I feel that the country was bamboozled by someone who studied the techniques (see Saul Alinsky) of how to target and win over the biggest group of people in the nation, the middle class, in order to get elected. He basically enlisted the help of the least educated, the youngest, financially challenged, opressed, least knowledgable group of Americans, which make up enough people to get him elected. He catered to their emotions and got them "high" on the idea of hope and change that he never really defined. This is a man that needs to be watched carefully and needs to be held accountable for the direction of the country that he puts forth. We know that we cannot count on the mainstream media to shoot straight with us, so it is our patriotic duty to keep a close and watchful eye on him throughout his term.

I just registered too. I can't wait to post on the "Barack Is Not My President" thread.

Well, I heard it is patriotic to serve one's country. I guess you guys do not believe in the chain of command which leads to the Commander-In-Chief.

You must be terrorists.

Here we go already.

We're being told that we need to CONGRATULATE Obonga,,, we need to show the left that we aren't such bad guys, WE need to be concilliatory,,, etc,, etc,,

IT IS THIS SAME THINKING that has given us a radical marxist in the WhiteHouse.

When does the LEFT get to be "gracious" and "concilliatory" towards US? Do you think, do you actually believe that Stretch Pelosi and Reid are now going to start acting RATIONAL???

WHERE EVER,,, and WHENEVER conservatism has actually been on the ballot, it has prevailed. It is due to the wishy washy nature of the RINOs and others controlling the GOP that this election was given away. WE NEED TO STOP THIS BEHAVIOR. By clouding the lines between the GOP and the democrats people were left with one choice.

It is time to take action. It is time to be who we are and not give in another inch. The RINOs are the ones that wanted John McCain and now are trying to run from their own decision.

PALIN scared the left to death. There is a reason why. That reason is BECAUSE SHE IS A CONSERVATIVE. Perhaps not an ultra, but she is still pretty much a conservative. Far more so than John McCain. Why do you think SHE is the one who stirred up the base? John McCain would have probably never even been in the race had he not selected her.

It is time to be serious about this. What is left of our nation is now at stake.

John McCain insisted on running an "honorable" campaign. He got no credit for that at all. Rather, he was accused by the left of running a horrendously dirty campaign. No surprise there. But I say when running against a radical marxist, when trying to prevent the Executive branch of the government of the United States from falling into his hands, THERE IS NOTHING DISHONORABLE that can be done.

There's one talking about stocking up on guns and ammo 'cause 'Obonga' is going to take them all.

If you can wade through the hatred and vitriol its well worth a look.

You actually SAW me walking out of my neighborhood a few months ago.

Did that look like incline village to you?

But yeah, even she sees the limits of the concrete jungle when we go on hikes right out of our backyard.
I saw a dirty hippie, a refugee from Burning Man, step from behind the 7-11. In some places, I would have reached for my piece under the seat.

I grew in the Bronx. The closest park was a garbage dump - no joke.

Just listening to the lies and BS gives me cancer. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT AMERICA!
I guess McCain didn't care about America when he spent years of his life in a prison camp being beaten and tortured while serving what Washington deemed America's best interest at the time you stupid twat.

Sure McCain may have sold his soul in the last couple of months, but I'd say it is forgivable considering the last FIFTY YEARS of public service he has given us was more good than bad.

Granted, his supporters at the speech were a bunch of clowns, Sarah Palin is a joke and all these fawking extremists who say she was so great are morons.

I'm glad Obama won, mainly because it pisses the right off so much, but also I feel he has more good ideas than bad. Sure I disagree with a lot of his policies, hell, I even like Ayn Rand. One fact still remains though, I have been a proud American the last 8 years, and will continue to be a proud American for the next 4 regardless of if my President is black, white, latino, yellow, red or any mix thereof.

At any rate I still love this country and wouldn't hesitate to make any ignorant c*nt such as yourself or any of these dumb sh!t frothers swallow their own teeth. [/crazy republican]

Not to be a dick, but he didn't have much choice in the matter since he was the one who got captured. I value his service and he is a fellow shipmate, but there are a lot of POW's and there are also a number of MIA's, too.

I love internet tough guys. I'm sure you wouldn't be so quick to say such things if you were to meet me in person.

Regardless of my disdain for Bush, I served under both him and his father because I love this country. I voted against both of them 4 times.
