I have been saying this all along.

Don't get me wrong, I think that hybrid cars, electric, wind, solar and geo thermal are very smart and very much needed but some people need to smarten the fu*k up and pay attention.

Pretty good info from a VERY reliable source.

Yet less than 1%* of the earth's population refuse to believe it.

    * 1% is obviously just a number thrown out there but you get the point

Only 25 percent is from the cyclical solar fluctuations and these greenhouse models have been under predicting the trend and yet you think its not an important concern

Its not exactly a brilliant idea to do nothing until we push past limit and hit a runaway feedback mechanism in our climate. Risk adverse greener technology in the best strategy as there are long term benefits to more efficient living regardless.

believe...... what? that the sun is responsible for 25% of the Earth's warming and that man is responsible for the other 75%? and since there's nothing we can do about the sun, we should focus on and try to reverse the 75% that we're causing? glad to hear you're such an environmentalist.

although we could always just get one of these, except for the whole Earth:

nothing remotely reliable about an industry-funded "report."

every "report" that says AGW is actually just "the sun's fault" is missing the point. the fact that some "report" uses science-ish-ness to befuddle those who haven't any scientific knowledge -- that makes it LESS reliable, not more.

it takes a real moron to think that we can puke volatile, reactive chemicals into the air and have no reactions resulting from that. a REAL moron.

or a paid shill, sitting pretty on an industry-funded chair in an industry-funded office.

I'm always confused at how people get this idea in their heads that being a pretty skilled MTB rider means they're brilliant political analysts as well. try to remember that when money is at stake, corruption will lead the pack, and honesty will be left sitting on the porch.

    ha!

Of course the chemicals and pollutants that we are putting in the air are my no means helping and we as a species definitely need to cut back and use resources such as electric, solar, geo thermal, etc. I just thought that it was a bit interesting that the sun plays a big part in the global warming factor and not what Al Gore has been incorrectly preaching.

Read into it as you will, just thought that it would make an interesting, friendly debate here. Keep it coming.
