There have been numerous sub-40 lb threads showing off gnarly expensive light builds, but I want to see who has the most gluttonous ride out there. I'm talking 45-50+.

I don't have a heavy dual-suspension setup, but I did have this thing for a while, which tipped the scale at 42lb during its heaviest times. Not bad for a hardtail.

I used to be ashamed of its weight, but what the hell, now I'm going to embrace it.

At it's heaviest:
2004 Azonic steelhead pro xl
dh tubes
2.5 hookworms
2004 DJ II OEM 6"
husselfelt cranks
mavic xm321 rims
HFX 9's 8"/6"

Here's my XC bike. '06 Preston (large). Shown with 66 set at 150mm but I'm runnig a Z150 now cuz it mo-betta, Hope M-4's, Kings, MAG30's with 2.7 Mobster Maxxpros and Intense DH tubes and a Gravity Dropper of course.

42lbs and worth every doughnut...er pound. After I survive the climb the downhill is so worth it. :clapping:
